Local Hero is a voluntary nonprofit organisation whose aim is to learn from the past by honouring and remembering those who served. It does this by bringing their stories to life and sharing them with their local communities. These stories have the power to educate and help to make sure that lessons from the past will never be forgotten and the value of peace will be celebrated and remembered.

We have helped in the formation and launch of Local Hero, working on a pro bono basis assisting with the design and project management of the campaign, including promotional and implementation strategies. By using our expertise in nonprofits combined with our project management and leadership skills we are helping to set Local Hero on the right path to achieve its goals.

Each year we organise a commemorative walk in Normandy France to commemorate D-Day landings so people can hear the stories of those who survived and remember the sacrifice of those whose lives were lost for our freedom.
