We helped the London Child Sexual Abuse service explore an idea for creating a new ‘Child-House’ – a safe and inviting ‘one-stop-shop’ that would offer medical treatment, advocacy and early emotional support for children and young people experiencing sexual abuse.

As part of a small, consultant team, including architects Studio Shaw and having consulted with multiple stakeholders, we prepared a study that explored multiple options, design solutions, cost comparisons and even went on to examine suitable localities, locations, building types and settings that could deliver on the ‘Child House’ idea.

The well-received study has supported the service in making its continued case to develop the idea.
