Road to recovery.

We are working with a hospital chaplaincy team to transform its chapel into a place that supports recovery through spirituality.

By making people think differently about the chapel and what the chaplaincy team does we hope to create an open and inclusive space that brings the chapel back to the heart of the hospital community and welcomes both those with and without a faith.

To better understand how the chaplaincy works and the support they provide, we immersed ourselves in their day-to-day lives. Through this process we came to realise the importance of spirituality in recovery and we are passionate about helping the chaplaincy team create an environment that supports recovery and welcomes all.

We are in the process of opening up the discussion to include a wider group of stakeholders and will work alongside the chaplaincy and the hospital to shape their vision, express their ambition and realise their idea of creating a spiritual place for all.
